| 1. เป็นผู้ที่ได้รับปริญญาตรีหรือเทียบเท่า โดยสำเร็จการศึกษาจากสถาบันการศึกษาที่ได้รับการรับรองจากสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (สป.อว.) หรือสำนักงานคณะกรรมการข้าราชการพลเรือน (ก.พ.) หรือองค์กรที่มีมาตรฐานให้การรับรอง หรือมีวิทยฐานะที่สภาสถาบันบัณฑิตพัฒนบริหารศาสตร์อนุมัติ ให้เข้าเป็นนักศึกษา |

เป็นการสัมมนาเชิงปฏิบัติการ โดยนักศึกษารวมกลุ่มกันเพื่อศึกษาค้นคว้าเรื่องที่น่าสนใจภายใต้คำแนะนำของอาจารย์ โดยเรื่องที่เลือกศึกษาจะเป็นการเขียนกรณีศึกษา การจัดการภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนในด้านใดด้านหนึ่ง เป็นการศึกษาปัญหาทางการบริหารและนำเสนอกระบวนการแก้ปัญหา หรือศึกษาเพื่อพิจารณาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความสำเร็จทางการบริหาร หรือนำตัวแบบที่น่าสนใจจากการเรียนรู้จากหลักสูตรไปประยุกต์กับกรณีทางการบริหารที่เป็นจริง ซึ่งในการศึกษาวิชานี้นักศึกษาสามารถกำหนดประเด็นด้วยความคิดริเริ่มร่วมกันของกลุ่ม

Learning from the real-world evidence
- To produce graduates possessing theoretical and practical knowledge of administration with the practical ability to apply knowledge suitable with work in government agencies, state enterprises and private organisations.
- To produce executives and leaders with morality, ethics and a sense of social responsibility in the public and private sectors.
- To promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences, opinions and attitudes among public and private sector personal, leading to cooperation for the country’s sustainable development.
ELO 1 Explain concepts and theories on public and private management.
ELO 2 Apply management knowledge and techniques to support the operation of public
and private organisations on the ground of morality and ethics.
ELO 3 Analyse operational problems and challenges to equip public and private
organisations with the readiness for economic, social and political changes.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or are studying in last semester (and to graduate before first intake start) in any field from a university or institution accredited by the Office of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from educational institutes accredited by the Office of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, or the Office of the Civil Service Commission, or organizations with standard accreditation or with accreditation recognized by the National Institute of Development Administration.
- Have required professional experience in accordance with the announcement of the Institute.
- Pass selection criteria set by the Institute through written exam and/or interview.

ND 4000 Foundation for Graduate Studies
An overview of Thai government and politics, Thai economy, Thai business, Thai society; codes of ethics for executives and academics; personality development; physical and mental health; the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand; Thai for communication; academic report writing; and sufficiency economy and development.
LC 4001 Reading Skills Development in English for Graduate Studies
This course is aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of English structure such as sentence types, core parts, headwords and modifiers. This will enable students to develop their English reading skills necessary for academic texts and research papers. Emphasis is placed on developing students’ skills in reading for main ideas, drawing conclusion and making inference, using context clues to arrive at the meanings of unknown words, skimming and scanning, and developing their discourse competence, including critical reading skills.
LC 4002 Integrated English Language Skills Development
Course contents and teaching activities focus on the integrated skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with a particular emphasis on academic writing at the introductory level.
LC 4011 Remedial English Language Skills for Graduate Studies
The course is intended to provide additional practices in the reading skills and strategies covered in LC 4001. Students receive individualized attention to enhance their reading skills for academic purposes.
LC 4012 Remedial Integrated English Language Skills Development
This course is intended to provide additional practice in the four skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing strategies covered in LC 4002. Students receive individualized attention to enhance their communication skills in English.
PP 4000 Introduction to Computer Based Information System
The course provides an introduction to basic computer skills and knowledge. It focuses on standard software and the use of the internet for research and preparation of academic reports, the use of common web applications, spreadsheets, presentation software, database software, and statistical software packages for academic work.

PP 6000 Administration and Sustainable Development
This course introduces theories and concepts on sustainable development under the context of globalization, and also the application of the concepts and theories in Thai political and social context. It also focused on political process of converting sustainable development concept into public policy through institutional mechanism and cooperation among public, private, and civil society. The course also introducs Sufficient Economy Philosophy and Development Administration as models for sustainable development.
PP 6001 Management Research
This course introduces basic research methods and both quantitative and qualitative approaches to management research. The course discusses steps of the research process, including formulation of a problem statement and research questions, literature review, development of a conceptual framework, formulation of hypotheses, research design, identification of population and sample, measurement of variables, data collection, and data processing. The course focuses on in-depth research to guide management decisions and develops students’ skills in conducting research, research based analysis and solution of management problems and phenomena, as well as improving the research process itself.
PP 6002 Public and Private Sector Management
Studies the meaning, theories and concepts of public and private sector management, public service provision, and private business, including the civic sector. The course compares the differences, similarities, and relationships, and the cooperation between public and private sectors, public private partnerships, concepts of new public management, public sector reform, application of private sector management practices to the public sector
PP 6003 Modern Organization
This course focuses on the theories and concepts about organizations using for analyzing organizations. It covers concepts and modern organizational design, organizational culture, organizational development and change, factors influencing organizational effectiveness, e.g. environment, strategy, and technology. The course also provides organization behavior relating motivation theories, leadership, and group behavior, as well as fundamentals of management.

The course studies the meanings, concepts, and theories of public policy and strategic management, including missions, objectives, organizational strategies, systems and processes of corporate planning from strategic to operational plans. The course further discusses operational procedures, analysis and the alignment of strategic and operational plans with environmental contexts. The course emphasizes the use of case studies for strategic management in the private and public sectors.
PP 7001 Human Capital Management and Development for Excellence
Studies the management and development of human capital in the public and private sectors, including job analysis, human resource planning, recruitment and selection, human resource development, compensation and motivation, career development, benefits, performance evaluation, and the changing roles of human resource managers. The course further discusses trends and directions in human capital management in the public and private sectors in light of gaining competitive advantages.
PP 7002 Financial Management for Executive
Studies the role and importance of the financial market on the private business and public sectors, management of capital sources, financing through raising equity, debt, and other financial instruments. The course further discusses financial analysis for the evaluation of financial performance of public and private sectors, including principles of portfolio management, analysis of business project investment, management of investment risks. Strategic financial management, long term financial planning, short term financial planning, liquidity management, as well as strategic integration of accounting and financial management, planning, control, and decision making, analysis of financial statements, profit and loss statements, and capital budgets are discussed.
PP 7003 Marketing Management for Executive
Studies concepts of strategic marketing policies, including price, location, and support within the contexts of domestic public and private sectors, and international markets. Emphasis is placed on problems and obstacles arising from consumer behavior and opinion, practical impact of laws and regulations of the World Trade Organization and Free Trade Agreements relevant to the Thai market. The course also discusses techniques for marketing management in complex and diverse environments.

PP 7101 Economics for Management
This course studies the composition of the economy: households, the private sector, the public sector, the foreign sector, the financial sector, financial markets, capital markets. It further looks at the working mechanisms of the economy, macroeconomic policy, fiscal policy, monetary policy tools, interest rates, exchange rates, as well as their effects on private businesses and national competitiveness. The course also studies the objectives of the management of the national economy, including national economic cycles. Economic foundations for private business decision making, market mechanisms, supply and demand of goods and services, as well as price building mechanisms, production, investment, and objectives of business management are discussed.
PP 7102 Innovation Management and Technology
Studies theories and concepts of innovation management in a digital era, including processes of innovation management that enable organizations to adapt to changing environments. The course introduces strategies for improvement, and elaborates on systematical development through the use of information technology, innovation management for integration, and the creation of competitive advantages and opportunities.
PP 7103 Managerial Accounting
This course studies the Accounting and Management, Using Accounting Information Related to Costs to Calculate Product Costs and Profit, Cost Behavior, Cost-Volume-Profit Analysis, Standard Costing and Analysis of Cost Variances, Activity-Based Costing, Using Accounting Information for Planning, Control, and Making Decision, Capital Budgeting, Budgeting, Responsibility Accounting, Reporting, and Operational Performance Measures.
PP 7104 Risk and Crisis Management
Studying concepts, theories, and linkage between risk and crisis managements as well as analyzing from case studies and proposing means in developing risk and crisis management.

PP 8800 Internships
Extends students’ development, knowledge and understanding beyond the classroom and encourages students to improve cognitive capacities and decision making power, as well as systematic job analysis, problem solving skills. Students gain valuable experience in public and private sector operations.
PP 8900 Directed Studies
Workshops organized for groups of students to address topics of interest and under supervision of experienced scholars, offering additional knowledge and learning in topics of public and private management. The topics should focus on specific management problems and methods used to overcome them, or analyze the factors influencing management performance. Students are encouraged to apply concepts and models studied in the program to real life management situations and are expected to develop topics and aspects within the group.

Independent Study
PP 9000 Independent Study : Combination of Practical and Theoretical Knowledge
Students conduct research on phenomena or issues related to public and private sector service delivery using frameworks that have been studied in the program. Students are expected to gain experience in management research and produce reports that meet academic standards, or develop applicable solutions to management problems that are based on academic analysis and research.
